Why I Use CBD With Joy Organics

Happy Memorial Weekend!! I hope everyone is staying safe and having a great time! I figured I would hop on here and talk about some health things. If you have been following me on Instagram, you’ll see I have been talking a bit more about CBD with Joy Organics. The first product I have ever used was from Radiant Labs — which was a anti-stress bath scrub (see post here). Since then, I started doing tons of research and using CBD products more often. Now before I dive on in, I want to disclose that I am no expert and all information I found are from Harvard articles .

What is CBD?

According to Harvard Health, “CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients of cannabis (marijuana). While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, which is a cousin of the marijuana plant. While CBD is a component of marijuana (one of the hundreds), by itself it does not cause a ‘high’. ”

I think the biggest misconception is the CBD is THC (THC is the substance that gets you “high” from marijuana, which is completely different.) THC is used more so for recreational usage. While CBD is especially targeting health benefits. CBD is legal in all 50 states whereas THC isn’t legal everywhere. CBD may prove to be an option for managing anxiety, insomnia, and chronic pain.

Why I use CBD?

As state above, CBD helps relieve stress and anxiety for me. With my workload, I am always under pressure with datelines. So it’s nice to unwind at night with there the bath scrub I have or eating a gummy.

I have found a brand, Joy Organics, which I personally love! I currently am using two products from there: CBD Gummies and CBD Sport Cream. Zane uses sports cream and loves it! He never loves anything haha. His wrist and elbow started to hurt one day and applied the cream and had immediate relief!!
