Rue21 Fall Round Up
Eeeeek! I am so excited to share with you guys what I ordered from rue21!! Y'all loved the Back To School Campaign I did a few months ago so I had to share my favorite rue21 fall round up this time. I know a ton of y'all prefer video try on so I am doing both. Each video down below will have links directly to the items I am wearing along with sizing references. Let's dive on in!
Comfy & Chic Outfits
Starting off we have this ivory ribbed knit button-down. I love tops like this and reminds me of the Free People thermal top but with a better price! I also got this in the color heather gray. I would stay true to size for these!
Now for the jeans, I would recommend sizing at least one size up. I noticed that most bottoms I get here run small. The jeans are great for the price but overall I would rate it 6/10 since I am very particular when it comes to my jeans.
I really love this puff sleeve top! It has a ribbed knit detail along with a deep v-neck to go along with the puffy sleeves. This top comes in black and ivory color. I did size up to a medium so that it's not a too-tight fit on me. However, if you like the tight-fit I would stay true to size.
This top is currently on sale for only $7.47!!! It's perfect for a layering piece or just something to turn a basic outfit into a chic-comfy look!
Attempted to add some colors to my wardrobe, haha. I really love the keyhole on this beautiful light yellow short-sleeve! Currently on sale for $8.99!! I saw that it also comes in black and burnt orange along with a mustard yellow long sleeve! True to size on this.
Switching jeans to this black ripped one -- I was really happy to snap up black denim since I have none in my closet. I love how the holes hit perfectly on my knee. I am 5'4 for reference. I am normally a 25 but have to size to a 3. I would recommend sizing up!
I am obsessed with these cardigan tops! I used to wear these in high school from J.Crew and the Banana Republic so when I saw them on the website I had to snatch them up! I got this ivory color along with the color taupe. I did see that there are colors in gray, olive green, black, and a deep pink! You can unbutton the top and wear over a dress or a cami as a true cardigan. True to size!
This top is very similar to the cardigan top above. The only difference is the small details on the bottom of the top and the sleeves. I love the lettuce edge detail!
Picked up an oversized sweater to pair with some leggings this season. I am wearing a small and it's pretty oversized. I would size down for a tighter fit or pick your true size for an oversize fit!
I love this soft mock neck top -- Zane is a big fan, haha! I normally never wear a turtle neck but since this was a mock neck it was just the perfect length of my neck! I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't really have a neck. True to size.
Outerwears
I was in need of a black cardigan and I have been wearing this all the time now! I love duster cardigans the best so I had to get it in the color tan! True to size on the dusters!
Last year I got a teddy jacket but I did not love the hoodie part. I thought it was too bulky around my neck area. I love this teddy jacket that just came in!! The downfall is that it does not have any pockets but there are some on the chest area -- just a tad bit awkward to place things there, haha. I already wore this on the first snow day in Colorado and it was so warm! Wearing a small, true to size!
Boss Babes Outfits
I think this blouse is so cute for the office. It does not come with cami under. I added my own since it's sheer but I love how the model was were a cute bralette underneath -- I think that would be great for going out!
I literally ordered the whole look when I saw this outfit on the model! I love the leather skirt with a sheer blouse! Now I did get the wrong skirt, the one I ordered had a slit on the side and no buttons, but I do like this one too! I figured since the jeans run small, the skirt would be the same. It's not, haha. True to size on this, ladies.
This sheer top can be worn normally, un-tied. I love having a plain white button-down in my closet. It is a classic piece that can be worn hundreds of ways! True to size.
Accessories
Stocked up on some beanies. I love this pom beanie, very wintery! I also grabbed this two-pack beanies that has black and taupe color.
Lastly, these faux fur combat boots. I did not realize that I don't have a pair of black booties for the winter so I'll be wearing this all season long!
