Jasper Vale by Devney Perry Book Review

JASPER VALE! This man, y'all! The teaser at the end of Garnet Flats had me on edge for the longest time waiting for this book and Devney Perry did not disappoint. If I could give Jasper Vale another star, I would!

My other book reviews by Devney Perry:

Summary from the author:

Eloise Eden’s pride and joy is her family’s hotel in Quincy, Montana. Her lifelong dream is to own The Eloise Inn. All she has to do is prove to her parents that she’s the epitome of responsible. That her days of being duped and making reckless decisions are history. She’s so close she can taste it.

Until after one weekend in Las Vegas, she comes home married to a stranger.

Jasper must have put her under a spell with those soul-deep eyes because after a single night together, they woke up husband and wife. Her only hope is to keep this marriage a secret until it’s annulled. Then she’ll pretend it never happened.

Except Jasper begs her to stay married. To fake it for three months so she can accompany him to a wedding. Maybe she’s lost her mind to agree. But her brooding husband seems desperate. It’s only three months, right? Then she’ll say goodbye to Jasper Vale, and with any luck, hello to her new hotel.

Jasper Vale

★★★★★

In this captivating story, hotel manager Eloise finds herself in a drunken Vegas marriage with MMA trainer Jasper, who happens to be best friends with Madden from Garnet Flats. As they navigate their "fake" marriage and try to convince everyone that they're truly in love, Eloise can't help but fall for the grumpy Jasper and hope to break through his walls.

The chemistry between sunshine Eloise and grumpy Jasper is undeniable, and Perry does an excellent job of bringing their story to life. I particularly enjoyed the way Perry wove in Eloise's struggle to prove herself to her parents while balancing her new relationship with Jasper. It was a heartwarming story that left me feeling warm and fuzzy.

Perry's writing is top-notch. I loved every minute of this book and can't wait for more in the series!
